DHS Special Notice

       On Monday, 08 June, Secretary Napolitano released a video
(http://www.dhs.gov/xother/gc_1243952009568.shtm) where she emphasized the Department's five areas of responsibility for achieving its unified security mission:  Guarding against terrorism; securing our borders; enforcing our immigration laws in smart, tough and effective ways; improving our readiness for, response to, and recovery from disasters; and unifying DHS.

Flotilla 15-08 History

THE ORANGE COUNTY REGISTER, Jan. 2008 - Coast Guard flotilla started in Yorba Linda

Homeland Security authorizes more Coast Guard presence in Orange County

   Flotilla 15-08 was moved to Yorba Linda, CA in 2007 from Palm Springs. The Flotilla grew from five charter members and five transfer members to thirty six members today.
